I graduated at the Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in Warwick Crescent, London W2. I adhere to the UK Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP) code of ethics with whom I am registered, and am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and psychotherapists (BACP). I am fully insured and my work is supervised, and I continue to attend further trainings and workshops as part of my professional development.
My background is in the Arts, with an honours diploma in photography, an MA in film, and a background in writing poetry and short stories. In my writing and photography I was always intrigued by relationship, the desire and experience of being seen by others, and the blocks to intimacy and connection which I explore in my workshops. I continue to work on personal art projects as part of my own creative journey. I had two late in life children with the help of fertility treatment.
I see private clients, individuals and couples, and have trained extensively in the United States with Pia Mellody of the Meadows Centre Arizona working with co-dependence and healing early wounds, as well as couples training with Terence Real in Boston, USA, whose Relational Life Therapy model informs my practice and offers relational recovery and tools for change for both couples and individuals. I am a member of the London Psychotherapy Network and Welldoing.org which offer a wide community of therapists and therapies.
